If your company is interested in an advertising or sponsorship partnership with Santa Barbara County Parks, please contact Mike Gibson (805) 568-2477. Real Estate Commissions Many neighborhoods could benefit from brokers and agents designating a portion of their real estate commissions to the enhancement of county parks and open spaces. Call (805) 568-2477 to discuss the possibilities. You will find the "Pet Pollution Solution" in our parks, and sponsors are making it happen. Mutt Mitt dispensers carry biodegradable bags for easy pick-up of dog waste, and provide a practical way for pet owners, not parks maintenance crews, to assume responsibility for pet clean-up.
Mutt Mitt dispensers can now be found at the DAWG shelter in Goleta,
on Santa Claus Lane in Carpinteria, and on the beach at Loon Point in Summerland.
Adopt-a-Park Did you know you can purchase picnic and playground equipment of your choice as a way to contribute to the beauty of our parks, greenbelts, and open spaces? Through the Adopt-a-Park program, dozens of people and organizations have already become partners in this way. Some have purchased new trees as memorials to loved ones; others have purchased plants and shrubs, such as Toyon or Nevin Barberry, that attract native bird species. You might donate funds specifically earmarked for a new walkway, restroom or BBQ area in the park you and your family most often enjoy. Santa Barbara County Parks welcomes your donation of gardening equipment, chain saws, or lawn mowers. Landscape and tree service companies sometimes donate labor to help prune the county's thousands of needy trees. The pro bono services of painters, plumbers, electricians, and carpenters is always most appreciated. Partner up to help improve our parks! Call (805) 568-2461 today to adopt your favorite park or open space. locate
