The Friends of Waller Park

The Friends of Waller Park is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of Waller County Park in Santa Maria. Over the years the Friends have donated thousands of dollars for improvements to the park, and are particularly excited about a new state-of-the-art children's play structure we will be installing early in 1999.

We raise funds in many different ways, including membership fees, donations, and a tree planting program which allows family and friends to purchase a tree for the park in celebration of a loved one. We help produce a Day in the Park held each August, and sell firewood year-round. Discs for the park's frisbee golf course are available for purchase. $350 sponsors have a plaque with their name placed on a golf course hole.

Waller is a rare and beautiful place. We would appreciate your support in helping ensure the beauty lives on for the next generation to love and enjoy.
